Blogging isn't something that I devote a lot of time to. Actually, I don't ever blog. Why? Sometimes I feel like, why would anyone want to read my rambling on a blog post. Perhaps if I'm talking books, you might be interested in what I want t say. But life events? What's on my mind today? Are you even following this blogger....lol, most likely I'm talking all to myself here. Either way, I'm beginning again and if you're out there, reading this message...well, don't get your hopes up too high. I suck at talking about myself. With that said, I adore talking about books (mine and other amazing novels), so let's talk.
Currently, I have more books than I can possibly read in a lifetime on my kindle. Slight exaggeration, I can devour books like a morsel of creamy milk chocolate. But because of all the time I devote to writing the All series, I am on a low-cal-book-diet. I'm reading, but it's random and I try to not fall into the trend of hyped up new releases. Don't get me wrong, I support most of the freaking talented Indie Authors by purchasing their ebooks, but I don't always jump right into their reads. I feel horrible about all the older books that are sitting on my virtual bookshelf, so if I'm reading, you can bet that it was probably released in 2013. Unless an author or blogger specifically asks me to read a new release in exchange for a review.
Bored yet?
Okay, let's talk Worth It All
A freaking crazy-train storyline! Everything comes out in this book and keeping it all straight with the massive cast I've created it wild, to say the least. But I love it. My betas are devouring each chapter and giving great feedback...and begging for more. Great sign!
Pimpsters! I adore my pimps and am blown away that there is now a Marie's Mafia Street Team. Having readers who love my books enough to give me shout-outs is the highest compliment. I am in awe that you are enjoying the story. Cliffhangers suck! - I know, but do you really want a book that is 1600 pages long? Nope! Taking them in shorter doses is much easier on all of us.
Some of the questions I've had about WIA is, who is the storyline based around. The All series is ALL BREESAN. The POV's of the other characters are meant to add to her storyline. That's why Sam got her own book, which really didn't have anything to do with Breesan -on the surface. But the underlining drama relates toward the heart of Breesan's story. And apparently All This Time should be read first, according to almost everyone who has read Be All, All is Lost and All This Time. ATT is the third book I wrote, but IMO it can be read first, third or last because it is a different story that also centers around the heart of what is making Breesan's life HELL.
WIA - why the name? Because during the story Breesan, Morgan and Anna will live through terrible things that are tragic and horrible headtrips as well as some major actions scenes that appear to be too much for the three of them. Centering back on Breesan, even after what she decided about loving others and giving of herself, she can't see how important developing all relationships are to her. Like many young women who enter into new relationships, she fixates on Marcus and depends on him like a junkie would his next hit. Through everything in Be All, All is Lost and even All This Time we know someone wants Breesan and that it definitely relates back to Ryske and Dr. A. But why is she the key? Hmm....You'll know it all in WIA and understand her value to many people in this book.
Through this journey some of the elements have been revealed, most have not, and in some cases I've added a ton more issues, that only caused more questions. Are you overwhelmed or loving it? Personally, I love the hell out of layers and twists in books. Make me scream at my ereader! Give me something more than just screwing and a plain-old-same-ol'-same-ol' story. Suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat, leaving you unwilling to turn off your nook, and making you lose days of sleep. Ahh, that's good stuff. I hope that is what my series does to you... Shitty? Maybe, but it's the truth.
Release day for WIA will be announced soon, exclusively on Willow Island Mafia group....SO JOIN NOW!!!!
